ID BURNISHING TOOLS

1) Series SH ,SB

Thru hole tools are self feeding, Blind hole tools are Machine feeding type

SH - Series are for Thru hole & SB - Series are for Blind hole,

These tools are available for any size between 5 to 64 mm for thru holes and between 1 to 64 mm for blind holes. These tools are further classified per processing length of workpiece.

REACH = Maximum Processing Length in mm

NOR = Reach is 50 to 90 in SH or SB Series.

LOA = Reach is 90 to 100 in SH or SB Series.

L = Reach is 140 to 160 in SH or SB Series.

EL = Reach is 300 mm approximately in SH or SB Series,

SL = Reach is 400 mm approximately in SH or SB Series.

For full Bottoming type tool, please give exact bore diameter of the hole and approach from bottom face of the hole.

2) LR - Series

LR - Series for Thru hole & LRB- Series for Blind hole.

The operating length of these tools is 250 to 300 mm and available for dia 33mm to dia 64mm. They can be used for infinitely deep hole by using extension socket or using machine spindle. For long job select LR Series tools.

3) U - Series

U - Series Tools are available for ID 65mm and above in thru and blind holes the steps of I mm. These tools can also be used for infinitely deep hole by using extension socket or machine spindle.

4) I - Series

I - Series tools are compact, short and maximum diameter of adjustment assembly is lesser than ID of part to be burnished. Hence these tools can be used for infinitely deep through hole.Available for sizes between 17 and 35 mm.

5) J - Series

J - Series tools are specially developed for Bearing sizes i.e. for Bearing Housing and standard Bush Bearings. These tools are compact and light weight. The processing length is approx. 50mm. The adjustment range is -0.05 / +0.15 mm. Prices of these tools are approximately 75% of prices of conventional SH / SB Series tools.

6) K - Series

K - Series tools are fixed size tools and working on the principle of SHOT PEENING.

The size can be increased or decreased by +0.010 mm by changing roller set. These tools are specially developed for thin walled cylinder uneven wall thickness, connecting Rod Small Big ends and pistons GP Holes. They give high rate of production. Prices of these tools are approximately 50% of conventional SH/SB series tools.
